Undergraduate Admission

Admission to the Religious Studies Major:

Before being admitted to the Major in Religious Studies, students must complete the following courses:

REL 104 – Introduction to Religion
One additional Religious Studies course
ENGL 101 – Composition
ENGL 102 – Critical Reading and Writing
Students must have a GPA in the above courses of at least 2.3.

Students should apply for admission to the major in the term in which they will complete the admission requirements, normally before completing 60 credit hours (before the end of the student’s sophomore year). For further information, please consult the Religious Studies section of the Undergraduate Catalog.
