KU Religious Studies professor Michael Zogry invited to speak at the University of Missouri

Dr. Michael J. Zogry, KU Religious Studies professor and Director of the KU Indigenous Studies Program, was invited to present a lecture, titled "Religion & Basketball: Naismith's Game," at the University of Missouri on March 4, 2014.  His lecture, which drew upon his current research into the influence of religion on James Naismith, his invention of basketball and the commemoration of his legacy, was sponsored by the Rufus Monroe and Sofie Hougaard Paine Lectures in Religion.
