We’re excited to offer Religious Studies Majors and Minors a wide range of renewable institutional scholarships and awards.
Scholarships
| Pre-Enrollment | Amount | Description |

| First Year Student Scholarship | Up to $3,000 per year | Awarded each year to an incoming KU student (freshman or transfer). |
| Freshmen, Sophomores & Juniors | Amount | Description |
| First Generation Scholarship | Up to $2,000 per year | Open to any Religious Studies first generation freshman, sophomore or junior. |
| Religious Studies Major or Minor Scholarship | Up to $2,000 for a Major, $1,000 for a minor | Open to any Religious Studies freshman, sophomore or junior. |
| Religious Studies Double Major Scholarship | Up to $2,000 per year | Open to any Religious Studies freshman, sophomore or junior who is a double major. |
| Seniors | Amount | Description |
| Scholarship for Graduating Religious Studies Major | Up to $2,000 | Open to any graduating senior majoring in Religious Studies |
| Spirit Award | Up to $1,000 | Awarded to a student who has overcome difficulties in life |

| Taylor Lynn F. Memorial Award | $500 | Awarded to a student who displays high academic ability in the department |
| Timothy Miller Award | Up to $500 | Awarded to a student who has demonstrated outstanding scholarship in Religious Studies. |
| Elizabeth Lewis Ethics Award | Up to $150 | Granted to the author of an exceptional paper exploring ethics and Religious Studies. |
| Outstanding Student Performance Award | Up to $100 | Presented to one student nominated by their instructor in every class |
